The success and popularity of Acura vehicles has allowed the brand to form associations with other industries. About Acura TL

The TL is an executive compact car that was released in 1995 as the replacement for Honda Inspire. It became one of Acura’s top selling models and appeared in four generations. The 2012 models received fresh rear and front styling, with a smaller front grille insert which better complemented the headlights. Inside, the TL was outfitted with a six speed automatic transmission which boosted efficiency and performance, since it uses throttle blip with rev matching downshift and can also downshift 2 gears simultaneously. The seats are ventilated, and it also contains a sixty gigabyte hard drive with blind area monitoring. The wheels were upgraded and it was powered by a 3.5 liter engine that can produce 280 horsepower. Manual transmission is also available and both the fuel efficiency and engine friction have been improved. During operation the 2012 is quieter than previous editions.

Common Acura TL A/C Problems

One driver stated that the car’s blower stopped working suddenly. Despite trying both manual and auto mode, the A/C would not start. They inspected each of the fuses beneath the hood as well as in the cabin box and they appear normal. However, one mechanic who investigated the issue believed that since the blower operated at a single speed the resistors could be causing the problems. When attempting to use the blower the wires would become hot so the two wire connection was replaced, and Acura has been notified of the issue.
